Once again, a big thank you goes out to Allen Jones and Ace Films for so perfectly capturing the feeling of inspiration and community at last year’s Giants Head Grind.
If you joined us for the 2016 race in Summerland, we hope this will remind you of the incredible fun you had! If you have yet to join us, we hope this short video will inspire you enough to make 2017 your year. You’ll be supporting a great cause and having some amazing fun along the way.
Congratulations to all of the participants and volunteers at the 3rd Annual Giants Head Grind – Christopher Walker Memorial Race. It was an amazing day, and while we were a bit nervous for rain, the sun came out and we couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather. We even hosted our very first “Bike the Grind” event, with 26 racers (19 of whom also “Hiked the Grind” just a few short hours later!).
Congratulations again to everyone who participated. And THANK YOU to all the amazing sponsors and volunteers that make this event the success that it is.

After the Giants Head Grind Race has come and gone for another year, you may be looking to do a bit of wine touring on Sunday. Well, have we got good news for you!
On Sunday, May-17 at 12:00 pm, Roch Fortin returns with his fresh lobster lunch specials on the Patio at Dirty Laundry Vineyard. Roch will be there from 12-2 pm serving up his Maritime delights. $34.95 includes lobster, bread, salad & dessert.
And here’s the best part (besides the wine and lobster, of course)… Dirty Laundry is generously donating part of their proceeds that day to the Giants Head Grind! So, thank you once again, Dirty Laundry, for your continued support of our great cause.

Everyone who has taken the time to register, promote, tweet and Facebook the Giants Head Grind – Christopher Walker Memorial Race has played a huge role in getting us to our goal of 300 Racers. Last year, being the beginner race organizers that we were, that was our capacity. However, with a year under our belt, we’re allowing a few of you late-bloomers to register until Monday, May 11th. But that’s it!
For all of you who haven’t registered and keep meaning to, or are yet undecided… this is your last chance! Join a team, race as an individual… or just come for the BBQ. Whatever the case, do not miss out on being part of this very worthwhile and exceptionally fun event.
